2 hours early, this is less than half the team. Bored sh*tless, we decided to go for a group shot before everyone was run ragged! It's Monday June 13, 2011, Valet Of The Dolls ready to receive nearly 300 cars as more than 600 people converge on an historic home in Pasadena for a luncheon with First Lady Michelle Obama!

This photo is at about 9am. Skies are still overcast and we're like...laaa dee dahhhhhh....... That sidewalk you're looking at across the street will soon FILL with people wrapping around the corner - extending a couple mansions long!

Secret Service and the florist doin' their thing in front of the location.... It's about 9am in this shot, too...

Cars are arriving... 10-ish

Look at that line across the street... That's not even half of it!

Ooooooooh yeah! Looks a little crazy cuz it was but this was also a flawless operation!

See the line of people?! Ya shoulda seen the line of cars. I kept wishing I had an areal view to really show the magnitude of what was happening. Cars coming from everywhere but we had it totally under control.

Guests had to arrive and be admitted into the location by a certain time. The streets were clear as the First Lady approached

We parked overflow cars in a lot at Cal Tech just around the corner from the location. Parked the hellout of em, too. All the cars 'tail in' are ours. And thats only 2 of 5 rows....

On our way out of cal tech, we see the motorcade! The yellow arrows point to two white vans that were in the midst of it...

Notice the LAPD... also part of the motorcade... I SO wanted to 'cut in, hang a right and be in line with them! But with that impulse came a 3rd eye flash of the potential news headline 'VALET Co OWNER TRYS TO MERGE HER SUBURU INTO PRESIDENTIAL MOTORCADE'....lol

Okay so...Came to my senses....
I let em pass.
And back at the location...

Dolls caught the arrival of the first lady as her motorcade pulled into the properties driveway. Streets now blocked on both ends. No one was allowed in who wasnt in already.

Ok... check it out... that valet in the center of the street behind the officer is Lynn. Please know she is WALKING BACKWARDS! As if keeping her eye on the officer just in case he catches her and threatens to shoot. WHERE THE HELL IS SHE GOING??????

Still walking backwards she's a brave Brit.... O M G!!!

HERE is where she was going! She snapped this shot once she got there. Nyummy officers tucking in their shirts after a long ride escorting the First Lady from where ever. So she says to the officers, "Ooooooh Yooooouuuuuu whooooooooo!" ;)

And they're like, "yes ma'am"!

Lynn, then, somehow, got close enough to the bushes to snap a shot of the party within..... We dont know who's head is who's. But each one of those heads paid a gang-uh money to be in there!!!

Meanwhile, Dolls... are bored sh*tless....

We thought about reparking the Channel 2 news van but...the police were lookin' right at us so . . .

We just posed, innocently ;)

And then, as the flower people transported their petals we reved up for retrievals. 262 of em - aproximately 200 of which came out all at once. Not an exaggeration....

Patiently, Kelly waits for the people to finish their conversation before coming to claim their car :/. Ooooooh yeah - only 261 more of these to bring back!!!

It was a full on hustle... And SO much fun. We got a ton of compliments. One lady drove up to the event and thought oh no, this is such a long line its gonna take forever, "but before I knew it, I was at the front of the line! You guys are awesome!"

It's cool to go to work and be part of history...
